Learn About Our DoctorsCarol Weith, D.D.S.Dr. Carol Weith grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She attended Illinois State University and the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, receiving academic honors from both institutions upon graduation. She was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society before leaving Chicago for Florida. Upon arriving in Florida, she immediately began a one year residency in general dentistry at Bay Pines VA Medical Center. This provided a broad base of experiences from which to launch her dental career.
She started working with her husband, William in 1994 when they opened their own dental practice. Both had worked in other Tampa Bay area offices prior to that and had even done mobile dentistry in nursing homes. "In another life" as she puts it, Carol worked as a medical laboratory technician in hospitals in Illinois before becoming a dentist. She continues to draw on her experience and medical background when treating her patients today. Carol loves to travel and would like to do more. She enjoys running, kayaking, hiking and other outdoor activities and likes creating stained glass projects. She is currently involved in training for a marathon with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and is helping to raise funds for a cure. We are asking people to dontate to this worthy cause. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1989. William's undergraduate work was done at Illinois State University where he earned a degree in Biological Science. Immediately upon graduating from dental school, William and his new wife Carol left the cold winters behind and moved to the sunny and warm Tampa Bay area of Florida.
William is also an award-winning artist who paints in several different media. His work has been shown in the U.S. and Canada, and has been collected in Europe. William finds that his skills as a visual artist transfer wonderfully to the cosmetic treatment he provides for his patients. He enjoys combining the mind of a dentist with the eyes of an artist. Some of William's other interests include photography, acoustic guitar, hiking, kayaking and spending lots of time outdoors in nature where he and Carol enjoy running(especially with their dogs.)

Carol has continued to study and evolve as a dentist with her interests and experience focusing on esthetic dentistry. She has completed many weeks of study at the internationally acclaimed Pankey Institute, earned certification in laser dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
William's special areas of interest in dentistry include cosmetic treatment and the use of lasers, and he has a great deal of experience and training in both. William has completed coursework with the renowned Rosenthal Institute as well as extensive training and certification in dental laser treatments.
